Description
The Certificate in Technical Writing and Communication core includes courses in Professional Communication, Technical Editing, and Grant and Business Proposal Writing. A general education, oral communication course is also required. Students choose six hours of elective courses from a designated list; an internship is part of that list. Students work with a Certificate advisor to curate a digital portfolio, which is presented during the student’s final course taken for the Certificate. This portfolio and presentation serve as useful resources for students applying for jobs or who are seeking to increase credentialing.
