Complete ALL of the following Course Sets:
  1. English must be taken each semester, except the summer, until this requirement is completed. ENGL 1010-ENGL 1020 may not be dropped. Correspondence credit in ENGL 1010-ENGL 1020 will not be accepted.

  2. The prerequisite for ENGL 1020 is a grade of C or better in ENGL 1010, and the prerequisite for a 2000-level English course is a grade of C or better in ENGL 1020. If a transfer student has completed two semesters of composition and has a grade of D in ENGL 1020, then the student must repeat ENGL 1020 before beginning the literature courses. ESL classes do not satisfy the ENGL 1010 and ENGL 1020 communication requirement of the general education core, nor do these courses count toward any degree requirements.

  3. All students must complete six hours of Historical Foundations except those students who are majoring in Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, General and Mechanical Engineering.  If the student has not completed one unit of American History in high school, the student will be required to complete 6 semester hours of Historical Foundations for the deficiency.

  4. The minimum credits required in each Flight Foundations category are as follows: Quantitative Reasoning and Analysis - 3 credits; Humanities and Cultural Expression - 6 credits; Historical Foundations - 6 credits; Social and Behavioral Sciences - 6 credits; Communication - 9 credits; Scientific Reasoning - 8 credits; and Financial or Digital Literacy - 3 credits.

This concentration focuses on the development of leadership and management skills that are essential across private industry, public service, and nonprofit sectors. Students strengthen their abilities in communication, critical thinking, decision‑making, and problem‑solving while examining the principles that guide effective leadership in a variety of organizational contexts. The program emphasizes practical strategies for motivating teams, managing resources, and navigating organizational challenges. Graduates are prepared to step into leadership roles and contribute meaningfully to organizations of all types and sizes.
