Two courses (6 hours) in composition from general education offerings.
One course (3 hours) in oral communication from general education offerings.
Students will take 2-3 hours of Technical Requirements chosen from ACCT 3720, COOP 4010, COOP 4020, COOP 4030, MET 3100 or MET 3740. Alternative technical requirements may be taken with advisor approval.
Additional free electives are needed to complete the required 120 earned hours.
Choose 9 hours from: CHEM 3520, CHEM 4110, CHEM 4150, CHEM 4210, CHEM 4310, CHEM 4320, CHEM 4410, CHEM 4520, CHEM 4610, CHEM 4620, CHEM 4650, CHEM 4710, CHEM 4720, CHEM 4980, CHEM 4991, CHEM 4992, CHEM 4993 (Total of CHEM 4991/4992/4993 cannot exceed more than 4 combined hours)
After the Sophomore or Junior year, the student will take a full year of cooperative experience, working as a chemist in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
