Completion requirement
Complete ALL of the following Courses:

  1. English must be taken each semester, except the summer, until this requirement is completed. ENGL 1010-ENGL 1020 may not be dropped. Correspondence credit in ENGL 1010-ENGL 1020 will not be accepted.

  2. The prerequisite for ENGL 1020 is a grade of C or better in ENGL 1010, and the prerequisite for a 2000-level English course is a grade of C or better in ENGL 1020. If a transfer student has completed two semesters of composition and has a grade of D in ENGL 1020, then the student must repeat ENGL 1020 before beginning the literature courses. ESL classes do not satisfy the ENGL 1010 and ENGL 1020 communication requirement of the general education core, nor do these courses count toward any degree requirements.

  1. All students must complete six hours of Historical Foundations except those students who are majoring in Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, General and Mechanical Engineering.  If the student has not completed one unit of American History in high school, the student will be required to complete 6 semester hours of Historical Foundations for the deficiency.

Earn at least 6 credits from the following:

Complete six hours from the approved Humanities and Cultural Expression list.

Earn at least 6 credits from the following:

Complete Six hours from the approved Social/Behavioral Sciences list.

Earn at least 8 credits from the following:

Complete eight hours from the approved Natural Sciences list.

Earn at least 3 credits from the following:

Botany Directed Electives:

Choose 4 courses from the following options: AGRN 2400; BIOL 3200 OR BIOL 3230 (only one of the two will count toward the directed elective requirements); BIOL 3330; BIOL 4150; BIOL 4160; BIOL 4190; BIOL 4200; BIOL 4210; BIOL 4340; BIOL 4350; BIOL 4360; GEOG 4510; GEOG 4511; GEOL 3550; WFS 4730.

Complete ALL of the following Courses:

Additional free electives are needed to complete the required 120 earned hours.

Note:
