Completion requirement

Flight Foundations General Education - Written Communication (6 hours)

Complete ALL of the following Courses:

English must be taken each semester, except the summer, until this requirement is completed. ENGL 1010-ENGL 1020 may not be dropped. Correspondence credit in ENGL 1010-ENGL 1020 will not be accepted.
The prerequisite for ENGL 1020 is a grade of C or better in ENGL 1010, and the prerequisite for a 2000-level English course is a grade of C or better in ENGL 1020. If a transfer student has completed two semesters of composition and has a grade of D in ENGL 1020, then the student must repeat ENGL 1020 before beginning the literature courses. ESL classes do not satisfy the ENGL 1010 and ENGL 1020 communication requirement of the general education core, nor do these courses count toward any degree requirements.

Flight Foundations General Education - Scientific Reasoning (3 hours)

Complete ANY of the following Course Sets:

Flight Foundations General Education - Historical Foundations (6 hours)

Complete ALL of the following Courses:

All students must complete six hours of American History except those students who are majoring in Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, General and Mechanical Engineering. If the student has not completed one unit of American History in high school, the student will be required to complete 6 semester hours of American History for the deficiency.

Flight Foundations General Education - Humanities and Cultural Expression (6 hours)

Earn at least 6 credits from the following:

Social and Behavioral Science Electives (6 cr.)

Earn at least 6 credits from the following:

College of Business majors meet the Social/Behavioral Science requirement with ECON2010 and ECON2020.

Flight Foundations General Education - Scientific Reasoning (4 hours)

Earn at least 4 credits from the following:

Business and Information Technology, Business Intelligence and Analytics Concentration Core

Complete ALL of the following Courses:

Business and Information Technology, Business Intelligence and Analytics Concentration Core

DS Upper Division Electives (6 credits):

Complete six (6) upper division DS electives (3000-4000 level).

Business Electives (6 credits):

Complete six hours of Business Electives

DS and Business Electives must be approved by the academic advisor and be consistent with the intent of this concentration.

Additional Program Requirements

Complete ALL of the following Courses:

Additional free electives (9 hours) are required to complete 120 earned hours.

Elective courses are to be selected in consultation with the academic advisor.

Flight Foundations Oral Communication (3 cr.)

Complete ANY of the following Course Sets:

Flight Foundations Flexible Electives (4 cr.)

Choose from Humanities/Cultural Expression, Scientific Reasoning, or Financial or Digital Literacy categories.
