- 1 A grade of C or better must be earned for all Art courses to be accepted. Students should expect to take at least one intermediate and one advanced course from each studio concentration. Courses accepted are listed below. Art Education cannot be used as dual studios for this concentration. 2 Students should expect to take at least one intermediate and one advanced course from each studio concentration. Art Education cannot be used as dual studios for this concentration. Courses taken for Flight Foundation (General Education) requirements must be from the approved list(located in the catalog). If you are unsure, please check with the current catalog or your advisor to make sure you are taking the correct classes. Majors in BFA concentrations in Clay, Design, Dual-Studio, Fibers, Glass, Metals, Painting, and Wood must have C or above in all art courses applied to fulfill requirements in the major. Art courses must also have a grade of C or above in order to serve as prerequisites for other art courses and to be counted as completed in the sophomore assessment for recommendation to advance in the concentration.
